We have been lucky enough to have Khoi in our lives for the last 7 years. He started with our oldest when our son was just 4 and has been working with him each week building his confidence and nurturing a love of music that has enriched every area of his life. Our younger son started lessons just a few years later.

Piano lessons have helped both our sons build skills of focus, perseverance, and dedication to a bigger goal than what can be immediately measured. Supporting those lessons thru daily practice has been a way to build treasured family memories we will look back on for a lifetime to come. Understanding that each student is unique, Khoi has been able to motivate, challenge, and reward each child in unique ways that respond to their age and changing interests as they’ve grown. Khoi has even helped us parents support the lesson plan by allowing us to make short videos of his hands playing the week’s song on the piano, so we could review it when questions arose during the week’s practices.

By participating in the many milestone performances that bring Khoi’s students together our boys have identified a community of piers who celebrate together the progress they have made.

We do believe that whatever challenges our boys face on the road ahead, the lessons they have learned about what they can do when they put their minds to it, and the sense of personal value and appreciation that Khoi has instilled in them, will benefit and guide them to great things.
We feel truly blessed to have Khoi in our lives.
