Khoi has been teaching our daughter Bella-Lucia for almost two years now. In that time her piano playing ability has grown leaps and bounds.
Khoi is such a gifted teacher. He is beyond patient and always has a beautifully sunny disposition that puts my daughter at ease, even when she may be struggling with a new piece or particular skill.
After assigning her a new piece, once she can play it with ease, he accompanies her in playing the song; that’s the highlight of the lesson for me. It’s so exciting, and she feels so accomplished when she can keep up with him. I always record them playing together; it’s such a treat!
She is so eager to please him. He’s like a sweet big brother teaching her a new and beautiful language but is quick to correct and demonstrate better technique so she is always improving.
My daughter always looks forward to her lesson with “Mr. Khoi”, and at the end of her lesson, she’s excited about her new assignments and what she accomplished.
He’s a pleasure to have in my home, we feel so blessed to have such a lovely young man teaching our daughter, and consider him a family friend, even our cats love him!
